Ok, so I'm buying a new computer. I initially wanted to buy one of the new intel macs, but found that I could be literally getting twice the computer for the same price as one of the new intel iMacs. Thus I've decided on Alienware. My main question is which is better performance-wise:
Intel® Pentium® D Processor 930 withDual Core Technology or AMD Athlon™ 64 3200+ Processor -------------------- Holy shit, pebkac, you're awesome! QUOTE (pebkac @ Jul 13 2006, 06:34 PM) Ok scratch that. I'm getting a hardon from this computer: http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/ultra8500.asp?v=d Only thing is the video card will be a really crappy brand with only pasive cooling, like they gave me. You could save money if you already have monitors you can use. |
