Ok, so I'm buying a new computer. I initially wanted to buy one of the new intel macs, but found that I could be literally getting twice the computer for the same price as one of the new intel iMacs. Thus I've decided on Alienware. My main question is which is better performance-wise:
Intel® Pentium® D Processor 930 withDual Core Technology or AMD Athlon™ 64 3200+ Processor -------------------- Holy shit, pebkac, you're awesome! QUOTE (pebkac @ Jul 13 2006, 06:31 PM) Yeah. And I wish I could afford a dual core proc by AMD. But they don't make anything but the higher-end procs with dual cores. Again, it's a problem of price. I wish I could afford that, but no tengo muy dinero. What's you price range? Sorry you just need a mother board that can do SLI. With a SLI video card. You can just get the 2nd one later on. That was my plan. |
