I am thinking about getting a portable external harddrive. Does anyone have any experience with these? If you don't know what I am talking about they are those 2.5" external 5400 RPM harddrives that use USB for power.

the portable ones with own power supply through usb are the best things ever made. i bought this acomdata 40 gig one for about 80 dollars after mail in rebate. not a single problem with it whatsoever. and i use it with my laptop to transfer files from work/school/home. so i can pretty much guess the seagate ones arent gonna be a problem at all.
