There is a rumor going around (started by a NFL website)
that Vince Young scored 6 out of 50 on his Wonderlic
test (a form of an IQ test). Normally I am not one to
put much stock into IQ tests as a measurement of ones
intelligence, but after taking the 15 question sample
test on ESPN.com and getting 13 out of 15 correct it
seems impossible to me unless someone has a mental
disability that they would score only 6 out of 50.
You would have to be the slow yellow school bus dumb
to score 6 out of 50. You have to be trade for Steve
Francis when you already have Falling Starbury dumb
to get that low of score.

Once again this is just a rumor and obviously book
smarts are not the #1 characteristic of being a football
player, but it would concern me if a QB I was considering
drafting in the top 5 only scored a 6. I believe an 8th
grader could score a 6 on this test, so either someone is
just trying to tarnish Vince’s name or he is extremely
stupid. What does it mean for his draft status? The
alleged source (I still have a hard time believing he
scored a 6) says he could fall out of the first round
which makes me wonder if this is really legit or not.
I will keep you informed as I find out more info.

I don't know how well he'll do in the NFL though, at least not right away
