USA is still living on a dream that FIFA ranking has anything to do with how a country will perform in a world cup.
Can you actually believe that Italy which is ranked 11th by FIFA is worse than USA ? Can you say Australia, which is ranked around 50th, wining over Japan, which is ranked among top 20, is an upset ? I don't think so. Football outside of America has a whole different meaning.
