They passed legistlation in Arizona that would make it legal for university students to opt out of assigned readings that they find personally offensive or pornographic. I always thought testing your boundaries and being exposed to ideas that you don't agree with was part of the college experience.

You don't have to draw a line, you have to be able to see what you can learn from the material. If the professor can tell me what I'll learn from reading Cindy Sheehan's chickenscratch, fine. Some of the trash profs have you read though seems more to me like them just tryin to force their opinions on you than some kind of learning material.
