I am getting ready to move and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to my apartment and since 20 is out of the way I figured I would explore 114.
I see that it goes through the DFW area, but I remember people having to pay a toll. If I drive that way on my way to Irving do I have to pay a toll to use 114? Yeah, there is no toll. I took 114 all the time, I prefered it. No traffic, no bull, little bit of loss of cell phone coverage, but who cares. Better scenery too, and no Post-smelly-stuffs. DO make sure you slow down in all the towns, but you pretty much roll in them and roll out, so it's not too much of a problem.
I prefered taking 82 to 83 to 380... i think that's a slight deviation of 114 (i think 114 is actally 82 all the way to 380) but i prefer my way. worst case scenario carry 3 bucks in change? -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.
