uh i'd consider 35% a lot.

I dont, but Im used to about 80+% in a city where there is close to a million people.

However, I think there are "a lot" of Mexicans everywhere in Texas because its a border state. If you all remember, Texas is primarily hispanic now.

Lubbock is primarily white. If you go to East Lubbock, you will find pretty much an even distribution of black and hispanic. Thats my opinion at least in having taught in primarily East Lubbock.

I find this funny: Before I moved to Lubbock, all my hispanic friends said that I was moving to a racist city...a city that had hate for any race outside of white. I found that to be completely wrong. I see a lot of diversity in Lubbock. On the other hand, everyone in Lubbock bitches about how many Mexicans there are. I dont see that either. I think people bitch too much about racial diversity in Lubbock.

All I can say is Im glad to be done with that shitty town.
