My brother spilled beer on his laptop last night and now the shift, even though the keys feel normal, is permanently on. The arrow keys also do not work. Obviously this wouldn't be covered by the service plan he has on it or the manufacturer's warranty since it was liquid being spilled. Does anybody know how to clean the keyboard? He said he has a shitload of papers due in the next couple of weeks, so he needs to get it fixed.

Yeah, I already left Jeremy a message and I'm just waiting for him to call back. Beer spillage isn't covered under the service plan or the manufacturer's warranty, so that's why I'm trying to see if there's anyway we can fix it before having to pay to have it repaired.

you don't tell him that. if they say anything about beer, start accusing them of drinking on the job. "YOU'RE GONNA FIX MY LAPTOP WHILE YOU'RE DRUNK?!"

put the fear of GOD into them.
