classes and the governor Options

how are we supposed to know if classes are cancelled if the damn govs office is closed for the day?

if they get the day off shouldnt we?

Please communicate to all department chairs and directors that classes must not be cancelled on Good Friday unless the Governor issues an executive order allowing us to do so.

TTU and TTU System Administration Offices may reduce staffing to a "skeleton crew" in observance of Good Friday beginning at noon Friday, April 14,2006. However, employees who choose to take the afternoon off will be required to take 4 hours of accrued vacation or accrued compensatory time leave. reporting of the leave will be in accordance with regular policy and procedures outlined in OP 70.01.

A sufficient number of employees should be available to conduct necessary business. Offices must be able to receive telephone calls and visitors, with appropriate personnel on call and available to respond as needed.
