Local restaurants, reviews and such Options

I think we should start a reviwing system of restaurants around here. We've all been to chains before (chik fil a tastes the same here as elsewhere) but what about stuff that's local or maybe just not nationwide?

Moose Magoo's:
It was ok. I got a chicken sandwich but the chicken was not very good. I had to pay extra for fries instead of chips and the sandwich was on the pricy side to begin with. The strawberry margarita was good though and we hit happy hour so it was like $2. I might consider going back, maybe on karaoke night, but I would not get the same thing again.

Ruby Tequila's:
Took a long time to get seated as a party of four on a Friday night (there were some other parties each in excess of like 12 people apiece which I'm sure didn't help). The food was really good (I got beef fajitas) but would have been really expensive if not on a value menu of sorts. The margaritas come from a slushie like machine, so they got less frozen and more runny as the Friday rush started. I'd go back.

Home Plate Diner:
Food was mediocre. So boring I don't remember what I got (maybe a baked potato?) Very informal setting but not crowded so that's a plus. Nothing special. Might go back if I was invited to a group already there, but probably wouldn't go back on my own choice.

Cafe J:
Really, really good food but very pricy. Atmosphere was nice, but waitstaff seemed slightly underdressed for how nice the place was and how pricy the menu got. A place to take someone on a date (we went for our anniversary) or maybe like a nice dinner when family is in town. Would definitely go back, as long as mom pays!

Zookini's:
This one is an "eh." Not impressed by anything there. The plus is that they have both a salad bar and a menu so you can choose which mood you are in. Next time I'll try the salad bar.

Sugarbaker's:
This place is a bakery, but they also have a kind of cafe with sandwiches and stuff. A little pricy for a turkey sandwich, but the desserts looked really good and I got some cookies which were good. Funny thing is we went around Valentine's and they had some heart cookies with sayings on them. Pretty sad when they used the wrong form of the word "you're." Would go back for dessert.

Gardski's:
Been a few times. The monte cristo sandwich is really good. Free chips and all that. Cute little place. Would go back.

Skyview's:
Really nice. Really fancy. Really pricy. If going for dinner, check the menu ahead of time to make sure it's something you like because there's really not much choice. Pretty pricy but nice for a special occasion (like my 21st birthday!)

i have no idea if flatlanders is a chain or what not but i really liked it. i had a great cooked how i liked it huge ass steak and awesome fries plus i like the 'atmosphere'. service is laid back but i dont mind sitting around. i love the building. i cant remember what night but they have some live bands play and i saw some cool dudes there one time

garcia's on slide by the mall i have heard good things about from mexicans but i havent been there yet
