Does anyone know what kinda calculators are allowed? I know there's only like 4 or 5 of them they'll let you use ...

QUOTE (Millerjcat @ Apr 9 2006, 11:28 PM)
I took the FE in October 2005 and got an 80. I studied most of the subjects in the big red review manual. I was surprised at how easy the questions were, especially on the second part. The people who fail are the ones who don't study at all.

Yeah, I plan on getting that book.

I know I can pass it but what pisses me off is that reference doesn't let you solve problems the way you learned to solve them, and it's fucking stupid how it's laid out .... For instance, figuring out pump work is easy as shit, but since it doesn't give you a complete steam table you have to fuck around with vdP or some shit, which means you gotta fuck around with all these conversions, and it was just stupid,w hen the simplest way to do it was m delta H .... They put a rankine cycle power plant problem on the Mock and I can normaly do those problems in my sleep, but without a complete steam table and the shitty ass reference I cant remember all the formulae off the top of my head sad.gif
