My cousin sent me this. It is a declassified video from a couple of years ago during a training flight. They have just taken off and the bird strikes in the engine. The instructor immediately takes over and climbs out trying to get as much altitude as possible to hopefully land it.
You can hear the computer sytem freaking out going "Gear not down" Click here to watch Jet-vs-Bird -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

QUOTE (zetec @ Apr 5 2006, 02:51 PM) that's nothing, the brand new F-22 can be taken down by a metal pin. http://www.airforcetimes.com/story.php?f=1...925-1639678.php Now that's funny! The last line is the greatest... Since there were no instructions in the manual to remove the pin, people didn't do it -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
