XP is showing its age... I got a second velociraptor hard drive because I like the performance, and wanted to stripe two of them. well, XP of course does not have raid drivers for my motherboard which is only six months old, and of course i do not have a floppy drive to F6 add them during the setup. i spent the better part of a day trying to slipstream the raid drivers into an xp install disc but with no luck. went ahead and loaded 7 and it went smooth as silk. guess it is here to stay. |
