1.) For whatever reason, windows installer is not working.
"Windows® installer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I can't install anything from a CD or from a download. 2.) Also, my CD/DVD-RW drive no longer shows as being able to burn DVDs. (Although I think I can solve this if I reinstall Nero...which I can't do until the first issue is resolved ARRRGH!!) 3.) My portable USB 2.0 hard-drive (WD 600U017-000 60GB Passport silver) is no longer recognized by windows. HELP ME

I'll try all these at some point today and post my results here.
Bleh, I need to upgrade to a new comp anyway, just need this one to hold on a little bit longer! -------------------- |
