While my strength is good, my cardiovascular fitness sucks ass, so I've been researching different cardio options to get in better shape. I ran across info on the Tabata Protocol and have done Tabata sprints on stationary bike 3x now. Absolutely brutal. It's supposed to be really great for fat loss and revs up your metabolism for 24+ hrs after the workout.

Anyone else tried Tabata? If so, what has your experience been?

Tabatas are a type of interval training. 20 second sprint, 10 second rest. The lay-person can usually do 4-6 sprints, whereas athletes do 8+.
