And yet in a subsequent show, Jon Stewart apologized profusely for calling Truman a war criminal...
But, good video. I do generally like the Daily Show, but I certainly don't agree with everything that Stewart says. Of interest in this particular episode, though, at the end the guest thanked Jon for giving him the best debate he's had of all the shows he's been on. -------------------- |

He had to apologize, otherwise he calls into question the abilities of Roosevelt, who started the program and is such an icon of the Democratic method of government. I don't think he claims that people watch his (or Colbert Report) show for news, I don't think he recommends that either. I think people themselves claim they watch Jon Stewart for news, which they probably should not do either.
