Hey, anybody know what diseases/vitamin deficiencies/ etc. can be causing my hair to fall out? The past 2 months has been ridiculous. I'm not getting a receding hairline or bald spots or anything and hairloss does not run in my family, so it's nothing like that. My hair is just falling out. I can run my fingers through my hair and a handfull of hair will be in my hand. When I wash my hair, I'm just pulling out clumps of hair. My hair feels noticeably thinner to me, but nobody else notices because I have thick hair. I find hair ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I mean, it's everywhere. What is wrong with me?

Haven't you been diagnosed as borderline anemic before? Hair loss + fatigue pretty much screams iron deficiency to me.

Haven't you been diagnosed as borderline anemic before? Hair loss + fatigue pretty much screams iron deficiency to me. ya and I have a reoccurring thyroid problem which can also lead to the same thing. I'm taking vitamins now though so I would have thought if it were iron deficiency that it would have stopped by now.
