I'm sick of people applauding this guy. I mean, I think what he did was totally out of line. Should he go to jail? Eh, I don't think so, but he shouldn't be allowed in the same room as Bush again. Some girl I'm friends with on myspace put up a status message that said something like "I think what the Iraqi journalist did was very brave, and it pails in comparison to what Bush has done to the Iraqi people." Ummm... nothing satisfies those people over there. They complain under Saddam Hussein, who killed thousands of people, and now they are complaining about the US. All we are trying to do is secure their nation and make them safe against terrorists.

I'm not saying that the US has some evil plan of invade and conquer, but I think the gov't have some idea of the countries that have a government system that we help established is more likely to be on our side and to do our bidding than whoever else was in charge. What I believe is that it's not some God's holy plan we got going on here, just like Obama is not the God's holy angel who's been sent to earth to save his people with his Godly magic.
