My friend thought of this, and after thinking he was nuts, I started thinking about it and like it a lot.

There's always a problem of politicians lying to get elected. Not promising something, following up on it, and getting it shot down in Congress; But flat out lying to the American voters during campaigns. Promising whatever gets votes, then sitting back and buttfucking our country for the next four years (W, I'm talking about you).

If you promise change, and try to enact that change but it doesn't pass, fine. But if you promise change, get elected and don't follow up on those promises, you'll be charged with treason after your term is over.

Talk about balancing power between the people and dirty politicians who think they can do whatever the fuck they want without repercussion

it's about your obligations and duties.

doesn't matter what you campeigned on, your duty is basically outlined in the constitution.

you're obligated to do what you said you were going to do, but it's just an obligation and voters are suppose to decide if you stay in or not.

to hold them to a higher and more ethical standard...and who's going to write those laws...the same people you want to me more moral and ethical. that'd be like letting the KKK write the hate crime laws.
