umm... he thinks he can have any type of attitude that he wants and get away with it because he is the almight great Bob Knight who hasnt done shit for our school. well, i take that back, when i tell someone where i go to school now they say "oh isnt that where Bobby Knight coaches?" instead of saying "uhh never heard of it". BIG FUCKING WHOOP. People here worship him like he is a god...and why I will never know because as stated before HE HASNT DONE SHIT FOR TEXAS TECH.

i just dont know how much reliability sites with names like dailyhaha and goofball can have. i did watch the video and i know that was him, so im not denying it happened and im not saying its just a lookalike or anything like that. but part of it is also the selective editing. pretty much anybody can be made to look like a horrible person if enough spin is put on any situation. im sure there are just as many things hes done or said that could make him look like the next mother teresa.

have you never wanted to tell people criticizing you to kiss your ass? have you never told someone how you really felt about them, no holding back? have you never gotten mad because someone said something about you that was either not valid or not from a valid source? just because theres a camera isnt his face doesnt mean he should become this new person and have nothing but praises for the world around him. i think its more honorable to say what hes really thinking than to try to sugarcoat it.

im not saying im for or against him. hell i didnt go to a single game this season. but i am friends with some of the players who are consistently in class and i think his philosophy about education is a good one:

Following the 2001-2002 season, Coach Knight was also named Coach of the Year by Basketball Times and The Dallas Morning News. Both the USBWA and the NABC also selected him as the Coach of the Year for their respective districts. Bob Knight also received The Coach Clair Bee Award, which honors the Division One Men's Basketball Coach who has made the most significant contribution to basketball during that season. Always the educator, Coach Knight takes immense pride in the graduation rate of his players. All but two of his four-year players completed degrees, a ratio of nearly 98 percent.

Knight's academic successes rival his athletic ones. At Indiana, he graduated nearly 80 percent of his players. The national average for Division I schools is 42 percent. He endowed two chairs, one in history and one in law, and he raised millions for the library. He's doing the same at Texas Tech, donating $10,000 to a fund that's now raised $100,000. To increase graduation rates, he wants the NCAA to adopt this rule: Revoke a team scholarship for every player who doesn't graduate within five years.
