So what do you not like about these cities? You mention culture, but do you know Houston is only second to New York City to being the most cultural?

So what do you not like about these cities? You mention culture, but do you know Houston is only second to New York City to being the most cultural? Savannah has a ton of history. It's super neat to walk the cobblestone streets and see the horse drawn carriages, the old statues, the massive cathedrals, and the shops. Right next to the area I mentioned is the bay with huge freight ships, bay cafes, occasional cruise liners. Yeah, there is something similar in Houston, but I-10 is right there. It's a hugely busy port with nearby traffic. Houston is way too big for me to enjoy. I went to the galleria one time and sat in traffic for an hour and a half to get a distance of 2.3 miles. Other than a ton of stoplights within Savannah, traffic is non-existent. Savannah is only a little larger than Lubbock. I was just way overdue for a change. Instead of there being 50+% Mexican everywhere, there is 30%ish black here, at least in the areas I have been. Other than black people CONSTANTLY jaywalking, they are really friendly or they leave you alone. Mexicans give you dirty looks, they walk slow, they talk in Spanish even though they speak fucking English half the time. Yeah, black people are quicker to want to fight if you are rude to them, but they fear racism. I can't ever remember a time when I was walking along in Texas and a Mexican stranger said "hello" to me. Blacks here are really nice. Some guy stopped me yesterday to ask about my son. It's a whole different pace here. People actually have drive like they have somewhere important to be. I swear, if you aren't going 20 mph over the speed limit, you are going too slow. Yeah, Houston is like that, but you also get frequent middle fingers there. I have yet to see the birdie here. It's good ol' Southern charm here. There are mansions lining the streets with huge moss trees overshadowing the rodes you drive on. I'm sure if I lived here my whole life, I would think it sucks. For now, though, I love it.
