Kimbo wasn't paid to take a dive...EliteXC bet their future on hand-feeding crummy opponents to this "Internet Street-fighting Legend."
If anything they were going to pay Ken Shamrock to take a dive, but he backed out at the last minute (Blamed it on a cut, but it might have also been a bit of pride taking over in not wanting to take a dive for that JOKE). Either way, I only watch EliteXC for the female fights. I wish Dana White would open his eyes and see, even from a business standpoint alone, just how good women's mma is now and will become.
