I know! We'll make out hybrids fully electric! That'll show those oil companies AND save the world! Ha HAAA! Then, we can drive them to the Al Gore Coal-Fired Powerplant protests, completley oblivious to the fact that the filthiest fuel on the planet powered our "green cars" to get to the protest! It depends on what wavelengths the solar panels are designed to absorb. Clouds cut the visible spectrum, obviously, but still let through a lot of UV light.
