Ok somehow we started this discussion at work. You all know that Coors Light commercial w/the train and blah blah and how they say it's "the coldest tasting beer". Is this even possible? DISCUSS

Fuck no you can't taste cold. There are 4 basic tastes, sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. You can include umami in there too if you want.
Cold is a sensation. I can feel cold, but I can't taste it. Since then they've dropped the whole "Coldest tasting beer" ads and now going for the "World's most refreshing beer" angle. -------------------- Beers that I have had, updated July 5th, 2009: 1,548
