35 is 3 lanes each way in that area...except in city limits in Austin when it splits to a lower and upper level. That looks like 2 lanes. 35 goes all the way up to Michigan I think though because a portion of 35 is what collapsed up in that area like a year or two ago killing several people.

It wasn't always like that (when I lived there it was stupid two way) I think the mileage marker says 324 (not really sure). The only place on I-35 with 300+ markers would be Texas and would put it just south of Waco. Think Lance is right about it being near fort worth. The land itself is what reminded me of the Austin/SA corridor.
