Read this very carefully. Save your "OMGWTFLOLBBQIMPALAISDUMBZORZ" for the end.

Q: What is the Alaskan Independence Party?

A: An Alaskan political party whose members advocate a range of solutions to the conflicts between federal and local authority; from advocacy for state's rights, through a return to territorial status, all the way to complete independence and nationhood status for Alaska.

Do you understand what this says? It says the members have a range of different ideals. Now let me explain what a range is. If you say something within a range i.e. 0-5, that means the possible numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. So in application to this statement, that means some members may be for complete independence of Alaska, while others may just be advocates of state's rights.
