Slavery good for black people Options

So I'm sitting here watching our olympic team win gold in basketball. I casually take notice of how almost every other team we played was all white. It got me thinking about this. Do black people not immigrate to other countries? nah that can't be it. Black people here in the US were bred for over a hundred years to be more athletic. So where would all the black people in the US be if it weren't for slavery?? (at least, the ones who hadn't immigrated later). slavery is what brought them here from africa, so they'd probably still be there, hunting monkeys & dancing around campfires. or in the very least, living in some 3rd world african nation slinging an ak47 over their shoulder or be covered in flies wondering when the next shipment of rice is coming. sure slavery was terrible and obviously i don't condone it, but it appears to me it turned out pretty well for black people.

Well that is the case with a lot of the luxuries we afford ourselves today. Look at what the civil war cost us, 600,000+ lives. Nuking Japan killed what, like 60,000 people? But in the end it could be argued it saved many times that. The key difference here is that the north & south get along, the US & the Japan have gotten over it. but there are a fair amount of people here who still haven't gotten over slavery. if those people would see that they have much better lives now than they might have under different circumstances, it might help them get over it.
