I just received a bill in the mail for a whopping 60 cents for driving through a toll part of 183. Only thing is, I've never driven on any toll road. The only time my truck was driven by someone other than me was when my roommate borrowed it to pick up a washer and dryer. He went nowhere near the toll road.

60 cents is nothing, but it's the principle of the matter. The bill stated that an automobile with my license plate was photographed on the toll, so obviously they have picture evidence. I don't like tolls one bit so I decided to screw with them and demand photographic evidence to be mailed to me. Figured I'll make em pay far more than 60 cents to collect a bullshit bill.

They refused.

So, wait. They can accuse me of using a toll, refuse to provide any sort of evidence that I used it, and bill me?
Fuck that shit. If I had the time, I'd seriously think about finding a lawyer pro bono. If they're pulling this shit with me, you know they're sending others fictitious bills. They made us pay for the road, they charged us to use it, and now they're charging us not to use it? What is that, triple taxation?

How is it retarded to think that with you living within a few miles of the toll roads, drinking heavily on weekends (which you can't deny you do because you post about it still), and not knowing your way around Austin very well despite having lived there nearly all of your life... that you did not go through a toll unknowingly?

I'll give you credit for one thing, you're very good at being a closed minded nitwit and believing only what you want to believe, even when people tell you numerous times otherwise.

I guess I'll try to reexplain a few things in extremely simplistic terms in hopes that maybe, you'll understand them. Speaking to you in baby terms is often the only way to communicate with you.

1. In no way, shape or form, am I "crying" about this. I fully explained that 60 cents isn't the issue and that losing 60 cents won't affect me (or anyone else, for that matter). Nor did I imply that I'm "screwing" the government by not paying the fee. I'm merely protecting myself from getting screwed....not out of 60 cents, but out of the right to see evidence for the act I'm charged with. Again, paying sixty cents isn't the issue here

2, There is no possible way I could have accidentally missed a toll road while I was driving drunk, because the last time I drove with even one beer in me was back in February. I still drink, yes, but when I do I'm either at my house or I call a cab. Cabs cost a good deal, but when you think about the consequences of paying around $8000 if you get caught driving drunk (not to mention all the other risks), paying $15 for a safe ride home doesn't seem like that bad of a deal.

3. I've stated dozens of times, both when we were together and on here, that I despise drama and want no part in it. I'm sure you think me posting about some dramatic event is some desperate ploy on my part for attention...it isn't. I'm merely asking for advice from people whose opinions I somewhat value.

I'm sure you'll read this and either not believe it or not comprehend it, which is fine. That's what you're best at. I honestly don't give two shits about what you think of me, but to incorrectly assume I do things based on who I was when we were dating more than a year ago, is ludicrous and very annoying.

I chose not to work right now. Seriously, squeeze something half the size of a baby out your asshole and see if you want to work. I don't know anyone that would find working under my situation a good idea. I had a difficult pregnancy while in school so I couldn't do both. I finished school in mid May and was due in July. Who the fuck will hire someone who is 7 months pregnant? NO ONE. Then, I had a baby. Most people take about a month or two maternity leave. Uhhh.... Donovan is 3 and a half weeks old. I move in two weeks. Do the math, smart guy. You want to compare shit. I'm 23. You were... 26 (?) when you held your first steady "job". Yeah... uhh still no room to talk.
