I have no link cause I'm watching the news at a restaurant, but I just saw a blurb about auto makers putting in a gas pedal that retracts or pushes back when you accelerate too fast. seriously, what the hell is this country coming to?

I doubt there's much truth to it or that it will really happen. They already have torque management systems in most new vehicles anyways, that keep you from accelerating too much. They're just currently there for different reasons (keeping you from blowing up stuff and making them actually make good on their warranties).
