I think tasers are overused, but they are good alternatives to using deadly force. Sure doesn't seem like deadly force was needed here.

How can there be an alternative to something that is a last resort? If there's an alternative, then it's not a last resort, now is it. And (this part's not directed at Jessica) I'm pretty sure cops are, in fact, trained in first aid. I mean, come on, they're usually the first to arrive at a scene. That statement about them not being trained is just silly. Ok, I just looked up TxDPS and "advanced first aid" was in the training description, which is logical. One can safely assume the same training is provided in all academies. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?
