I was in labor for 23 hours, but I had mt son Donovan Charles Mummert at 3:10 a.m. Thursday morning. He was 7 lbs. 4 oz and is 21.25 inches long. He is perfect. I got on here a few times to post about it, but I just didn't have the words to say it. He is amazing and everything I could have hoped for and more. He totally made the 9 months of hell worth it. He is such a beautiful baby.

I thought about it, and I really wanted the baby to have a name that meant something to our family. Donovan is my husband's mom's maiden name, and Charles is his grandfather that lost a battle to cancer a few years ago. His grandmother cried when we told her we were naming the baby after her husband that passed away. Anyways, I would post pictures on here, but so many people frequent this site that we don't know because of google that I really don't want to post them on here. I'm going to post them on facebook and myspace instead since my accounts are viewable to friends only. I'm friends with most of you on those sites, but in case we aren't, you can add me.
