Because our tax dollars still pay for it when the baby is born here and is technically considered a legal citizen, therefore giving the mother eligibility to be here.

That's another law that needs to be changed. No automatic citizenship and government benefits just because you shitted out a kid in America. That would solve SO many problems, and it would dissuade dumbfuck illegals from getting knocked up for economic benefit, which I surmise many do for that exact reason. Of course that makes perfect social and economic sense, meaning we'll never see a law such as that passed
