I think we reward the having of children too much. The point is that if you can't afford to have a child and take care of that child, you shouldn't have had sex and become pregnant. End of story. Yet, this behavior is alright because the government is there to give handouts. There has to be a consequence for a poor decision. Not saying hurt the kids, by all means if the parents can't provide then CPS should step in until they can. It reminds me of the child who died in a hot car this past weekend. His parents left him in the car for two hours because "they forgot".
