I going on a road trip in a couple of weeks. I have never gone on a road trip with a friend (only with parents). We're going down south to Mississippi area, do you guys have any advice on what to take with you on the trip, etc?

I'm driving down from Michigan.
Anyway, we're driving to the Mammoth caves first and then to New Orleans. From there we're probably going the same way as you, Jacksonville and then Savannah. We'll spend sometime in Savannah, and if Savannah is a disappointment, we can go to Charleston. -------------------- I go to the maize and blue

I recommend the gulf coast beaches of Florida or hitting Hilton Head just north of Savannah. I am probably going to visit my sister in a couple of weeks where my bro in law is stationed in southern Alabama, so i'll ask them about the south.
