What are the best ways to maximize p2p security/privacy these days?
Also, I recently got Cox cable and it would appear that using the router I normally use with my connections appears to break the internet. I've read a bit about this issue, and am not certain what to do. Albeit, this is relatively little information to diagnose the problem, I find myself a bit frustrated that this would happen. Router is a Linksys router with fully updated firmware. --------------------  |

I had the cable company here (Grande Communications) tell me the other day that they I only pay for one connection so if a router isn't splitting that connection, they won't do anything about it. The internet was being retarded. I could get internet on my laptop. Or I could get internet on the desktop. But I couldn't get it on both simultaneously. It finally stopped being stupid and started working again but still... What the fuck kind of customer service says that? Who pays for multiple connections for internet in one home? NOBODY. That's who.
