 . same reason I wanted one, 'cept it wasn't available in the 1/2 ton. mine's run like a champ so far, and I drive it like I stole it. |

Yeah, you can't really beat the durability of a BBC ... that's the big advantage to a high-output small block, the big blocks were just designed beefier albeit slightly less effecient perhaps ... but, I will say however, I think the current crop of Gen VII big blocks were leaps and bounds over the ones they were making 15,20 years ago even though the internals have hardley changed ... I mean a Gen VII big block is basically the same ol' big block with a completley modern top end and engine control system from what I can tell ... But yeah, I'm expecting 250,000 miles outta this truck easy ... heh  It does like to burn a little oil though, but I haven't ever seen a big block that hasn't .... hahaha -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
