i think 9 months in though sex wouldnt hurt anything even "high risk" BUT im not an OBGYN

I have a high risk pregnancy but I'm not at risk of having a miscarriage. I have a thyroid condition that keeps fluctuating. It makes it risky for me to have a heart attack. If my thyroid levels go up, I am not supposed to do anything super active. If my thyroid levels go down, I am at risk in other ways. My levels have been fairly stable lately though. Thanks for keeping tabs on me though.

And you're right. You aren't an OB/GYN so your medical opinion means nothing. In fact, your assumption just proves you know absolutely nothing.

And speaking of high risk, my brother's unborn child is candidate for having Edward's Syndrome... and even then, they were warned to not have sex at all during pregnancy, so chances are my niece won't be normal

It means that they will have to monitor my heart rate really closely. If it spikes, they will have to do a c-section. That's why I couldn't work for a while during my pregnancy. I was having thyroid issues again. Then, by the time my levels evened out, I was pretty much too far along to work anyway.

And sorry to hear about your niece. Just so you know, they run tests all the time, but nothing is for sure until that baby is born. Hope for the best but expect the worse. Actor Scott Baio was told that his baby tested positive for some very rare and fatal disease. Turns out it was a false positive. Also, at 25 weeks, they offer a blood test to mothers that will show whether or not the baby could have spinal biffida (sp) or mental retardation. If it shows up negative, your baby is good. If it shows up positive, the baby could still be born normal. I don't know if that can happen with Edward's Syndrome, but you never know. Medicine is a science, but it also has many miracles.
