yes, the Mayan calender predicts the end. (some say of the world, others say the end of this age) but it's strange the things that are found.

supposed to be the biggest solar storm so far, predicted on the "conveyor belt theory" supposed to happen around 2012.


before anyone starts denouncing (coughzachcough) or confirming (coughlancecough) things. i just wanna say that preperation for such events couldn't hurt, just in case. but hey, the Mayan's have been Double-Dog-Dared... set a date for something great. it will be known once and for all if they were wrong... and we live on with nothing happens... or they're proven right... and in which case, i guess we won't have much time to regret their warnings, now will we?



of course, i prepare for the middle ground.... something actually happens, but it's no where near as catostrophic as the mayans believe, but significant enough to throw the world into chaos...

oh please. I was messing with you. I will probably at some point set aside some supplies and I've always wanted to beef up to have a few thousand rounds for each of my guns set aside. Just because I don't treat it as a hobby doesn't mean I'll be unable to survive.

I've always wanted to put together a BOB (Bug Out Bag) but hadn't really given it much thought recently. Now that I'm not college-student-poor, I might put one together.
