As long as you don't accept anything after rendering aid (dinner or anything), you're safe from being sued. But most folks don't know that.

Yep, due to the good samaritan laws. That is assuming they don't refused treatment (if unconscious, consent is considered implied). Even if a person didn't feel comfortable administering first aid, though, I don't see why they wouldn't call 911. I really need to get my first aid/cpr certifications renewed. It's been several years now since I last had a class, though I'd certainly feel comfortable rendering first aid regardless.
