I wonder what the race of the old man was... just curious. I mean, maybe he was white and that's why the people standing on the sidewalk didn't help. Doesn't explain the motorcycle driving around him... or the cars just passing by without stopping, but still. Pretty sad that no one did ANYTHING, not even call the police. A police officer on his way to another call saw the man and called into paramedics. That's awful.

Pretty sure it's a further devolution of the "slow down and gawk at the wreck" mentality. Those horrid excuses for human beings.
