 So, Samsung is coming out with a new phone through Sprint, the Samsung Instinct. My phone right now is a 2+ year old piece of shit, and I need a new one. Anyways, June 20th is suppose the release date. I've never had good customer service from Sprint either, but I'm under my mom's plan with her 25% off corporate discount. I'd have to say the service is pretty good. I'm finding I've got reception in places that other people don't.
They also fucked me with this new phone activation thing. Every company did it or still does it, but I caught it on my bill. I can't remember the amount, but if you buy a new phone in person, they charge you $36(I think), even though it's not a new line activation. If you order a phone over the phone it's $18, and if you do it over the web, they don't charge you. That crap was never disclosed to me. Filed a formal complaint to the FCC, and I got my money back. Depending on the service required, you can sign up for their SERO plan, and it's the cheapest and probably the best plan out there.
