Played it for a few more hours last night - enjoyed it a lot more than the day before.

I suspect that, perhaps, my frustrations from Wednesday night had a lot to do with de-WoWing myself, if that even makes sense.

I think I started to enjoy the game more once I kind of got over the fact that, "Hey, this game isn't WoW." And even though I've started to become a little bit burnt out on WoW, it's weird that it has taken me a couple of days to process the idea of playing another MMO that just happens to be completely different in many/most respects.

While I haven't encountered this yet, I suspect that the process of rolling an alt or completely re-rolling will become a huge pain in the ass and a major source of griping from AOC subscribers. I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with the game, but every character basically spends the first 20 levels or so in the same place: Tortage.

So if you decide at level 32 that you hate your Tempest of Set and want to re-roll as a Conqueror, you're going to have to re-visit the exact same content that you went through with your ToS. You don't have to do this, but the EXP you get from rolling through Tortage is better than it would be for you at that level elsewhere.

FFA PvP is nice, and so is the ability to communicate with the player you just killed. I've become so accustomed to WoW that the thought doesn't really cross my mind until my victim has already released.
