So I got bored and bought GTA 4 Options

I've played it for about an hour and I'm already bored out of my skull with it.

How the FUCK did this game get so popular?

Seriously, you have to be amused by watching paint dry to like this game.

The control is as sloppy as any game I've ever played, the missions are boring, and it's no better than any of the previous vastly over-rated GTA games.

The fact that this series of games became so popular speaks volumes of how stupid the vast majority of gamers are IMO.

I think Im gonna go trade this back in tomorrow.

I would say since I got my Xbox 360, I've probably owned 20 games for it.

Of all these games, the only ones I've thought were worth a damn were:

Call of Duty 2,3,4
Gears of War
Dead Rising
Overlord
Oblivion

Then I have an assortment of "fun to play" sports games, NHL2K6, MLB07, NCAA07, MADDEN08, MX vs ATV, etc ..

But seriously, the quality of most games I play is SEVERLY lacking. They go for marketing gimicks to sell them then the actual gameplay and/or story lines just fall off completley...

With as much money as there is to be made in gaming these days it's a shame that more game developers don't take the time to develop games for the "real" gamers and not just some idiot who is amused by running over hookers in a car
