ok so like ...

were seamen so obsessed with dick they had to insinuate a whale was a gigantic penis?

I mean they couldn't have known some bald headed techno guy was going to name himself "moby" like 300 years later...

So they had to come up with some swarthy name...."Moby" is fine, but since they're all seamen and look at each other's private parts all day long, they just decided to call the whale a penis and write swarthy tails about him?
