So I heard this morning on the radio... Stewart Mandel of SI has put Tech at #8 preseason rankings. God I hope our guys don't let this stuff go to their heads. Don't get me wrong, this year's team is looking better than any other I've seen but our guys tend to let the good press go to their heads and start flubbing up easy games. Can't wait for this season to get going!

well these aren't AP or coaches polls. Just individual sports writers putting out their own.
I am excited, I really think this will be the best team Tech has had in a very long time, if not in school history. I just hope they don't let the press go to their heads. |

I just hope they don't let the press go to their heads. roffles, I am going to put on my swami hat and predict the same thing as I've done the past, I don't know, ten years: a marginal season with two "big" wins, two loses to teams we were expected to lose to and one/two losses to teams we should have beat... I've learned to never get excited about TTU football (or TTU sports for that matter). -------------------- ![]() |
