I think the reporter was speaking in generalizations. Anyone not familiar with the area would be able to look up Lubbock on a map and see that its in the middle of west Texas, I.e. The bible belt.

Of course impala has to come in here and start bitching about some stupid shit, as if he has his finger on the pulse of conservative America or something. Fuck, the only thing that Fatty McGee has his fat fingers on is another ham sandwitch or meatlovers pizza.

I don't have any opinions about the people who live in Texas because I'm constantly surrounded by all kinds of people and we don't talk politics.

But it is my opinion that everyone in this thread has made rational statements or posted facts, and impala has done nothing but troll.

Except I lived in lubbock for nearly 10 years, and she came to lubbock to give a Bush hate speech, then based her findings of lubbock opinion of bush on the people she talked to at that speech? You don't find anything wrong with that? So yes, I would definitely say I "have my finger on the pulse" of lubbock more than this woman would.
