For those who would like to upgrade (free) and have a PPC 6700, check out this post:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20492 If you hunt around there are other phone models on their forum as well. Friggin sweet upgrade so far. Looks way better than WM5, and seems a lot faster so far too. A huge upgrade is their "cooked" ROM adds SDHC drivers, enabling up to 8GB mini SDHC cards (which I just snagged from newegg for $31). On a completely different sidenote, flash memory in general is getting huge and getting cheap. In the same order I grabbed a SDHC card for my new camera, 16GB for $68. |
