Has anyone else tried this? It's a pretty good way to learn python (but it can be done in any language).

Well, yes and no. Is there anything revolutionary that will replace C# or C++? No. Is it worth your time? Maybe. Python's a pretty trivial language to learn and it is a lot more readable (at least to me) than C#. I feel that it makes writing really tedious code relatively easy as well.

But I don't know what your current situation is, so I don't really know if it would be useful for you.
