The book was much better.
I still like Omega man even though it is 70s fabulous -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

This movie should have gone more into the fact that these infected were still self aware and not just random killing machines. Neville is supposed to be a legend (like the boogey man) to this new society. You shouldn't have to read a book to understand a movie its based on. Yep, completely agree. The movie was entirely too short. They could have easily added some time and really got into the story and explained what was going on.
